**The Governor of the Telecommunications Authority Visits “Telebras” to Enhance Cooperation in Telecommunications and Space Sectors**

H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Saud Al-Tamimi, Governor of the Communications, Space, and Technology Commission (CST), held bilateral meetings with a number of “Telebras“ officials during his visit to Brazil. The discussions focused on examining best practices in telecommunications, space and technology sectors, as well as  opportunities to create collaborative solutions that would benefit both nations.

During the meetings, a visit to the Brazilian Space Operations Center (COPE), operated by “Telebras,” took place to examine its functions in overseeing and managing satellite systems. The conversation focused on how to utilize these insights to progress the space sector, improve satellite operational efficiency, and promote space sustainability initiatives.

The meeting is part of CST’s efforts to enhance the telecommunications, space and technology sectors, improve infrastructure in Saudi Arabia, and achieve sustainable development goals.
