This aligns with the Kingdom’s significant efforts to offer the best and latest services to its guests.
stc conducted inspections of all network elements and operating systems to ensure their readiness and quality of data transmission and voice calls. It also makes sure that professional human resources are available during the holy month, particularly during the peak time of the last 10 days, to monitor network performance and carry out corrective operations around the clock.
It has also intensified daily monitoring of the core cables routes, and made available emergency systems and equipment operating according to globally approved emergency plans, to ensure the best network performance, service continuity, and reliability.
During the current Ramadan season, the stc Group is working to enrich the experience of the guests to Makkah and Madinah. This involves conducting over 997 updating operations on all its towers to enhance the efficiency of 4G and 5G networks, aiming to accommodate a larger number of its own clients, as well as of clients of operators from abroad.
This is achieved through expanding and adding new bands to the 5G network, such as N77, N78, N40, and N28, which aim to increase network speed and improve user experience.
The efficiency of the 4G has also been enhanced through an additional network on the L900 frequency band.
The group also worked to improve the network performance at hotels and hospitals.
This reflects the digital advancement experienced by the Kingdom, and the endeavor to provide exceptional services to visitors to the holy mosques.
The stc Group continues to work to ensure the readiness of the digital infrastructure at the Grand Mosque and its surrounding areas, to serve the millions of Umrah performers.
It is also preparing all sites in Makkah to accommodate Umrah performers, worshippers, visitors, and those visiting the Grand Mosque, aiming to enhance the quality of digital services provided.
