Makkah Deputy Governor to Patronize the 24th Scientific Forum for Hajj, Umrah and Visit Research in Umm Al-Qura University

تم النشر في الأثنين 2024-12-02Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Deputy Governor of Makkah Region, Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, will sponsor the 24th Scientific Forum for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit Research.
Organized by Umm Al-Qura University through the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research, the event will run from December 9 to 11, 2024, at Umm Al-Qura University’s Al-Abdiyah Campus, under the theme “Excellence in Transportation and Crowd Management.”
The 24th forum will include a series of workshops and specialized panel discussions focused on the transportation sector and crowd management. Topics will address strategic planning in managing systems and facilities to ensure effective and safe traffic flow and the movement of individuals, which will contribute to improved efficiency and reduced congestion.
The forum will also highlight modern systems and technologies in transportation and crowd management, as well as the planning and execution of operations related to movement and mobility aimed at enhancing management, organization, efficiency, and safety, ultimately providing a better user experience. Additionally, forum topics will cover enhancing health and safety in crowd management to ensure precise planning and proper execution, safeguarding individuals from health, physical, and security risks.
The forum will emphasize sustainable practices in the field, balancing current transportation and crowd management needs while preserving resources and the environment for future generations. Furthermore, the forum will feature an exhibition and a collection of scientific posters showcasing research presented by Saudi university scholars in the fields of transportation and crowd management.
