The decision, published in the Umm Al-Qura Newspaper on December 16, mandates the application of final duties on the specified imports for five years, effective December 17. The duties range between 25.56% and 51%, as detailed in the table in the decision, specifying the applicable rates.
Imposing these final anti-dumping duties aligns with the Law of Trade Remedies in International Trade, which was developed to protect the local industry from unfair trade practices in the Saudi market. This decision is based on the final findings of an investigation initiated on November 30, 2023, following a complaint from the local industry, as stipulated in the above-mentioned law and its Executive Regulation.
GAFT has invited those seeking further details on the decision to visit its official website at gaft.gov.sa and access the “Notices and Circulars of Trade Remedies Investigations” page.
