GASTAT Reports a 2.8% Real GDP Growth in Q3 of 2024

General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) released today the real GDP and National Accounts Indicators for the third quarter of 2024.
Figures show a 2.8% real GDP growth in Q3 of this year compared to the same period last year, driven by a 4.3% surge in non-oil activities.
According to GASTAT, oil activities recorded a slight growth of 0.05% in the third quarter of 2024 compared to the same period in 2023, while government activities showed a 3.1% increase in the same period compared to Q3 of last year.
There was also a 0.9% increase in the seasonally adjusted real GDP during Q3 of 2024 compared to the second quarter of this same year.
