Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAUDIA) Shares the Spirit of Ramadan with Exclusive Offerings Onboard and Across Al Fursan Lounges

During the holy month of Ramadan, SAUDIA, the national flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, will be offering guests new Iftar and Sohour packages onboard flights to selected destinations, as well as across all Al Fursanlounges. The special edition Ramadan packages will be distributed between April 2nd and May 1st.

The Ramadan standard beverage service and a Ramadan package will be available during fasting hours up until 60 minutes before sunset on all domestic flights within Saudi Arabia. All long haul flights will continue to have full meals, while ultra-short haul international flights to destinations such as Cairo will be served normal meals together with aRamadan package during Iftar time.

Guests on flights arriving 59 minutes before sunset until 20:00hrs (KSA time) will receive a Ramadan package to enjoy onboard at Iftar or for dining at their convenience post-flight. For Sohour, flights departing from 90 minutes until 45 minutes before sunrise will also receive the exclusive Ramadan packages.

Both meal offerings include a variety of nourishing Iftar and Sohour essentials including a pack of dates, a cheese fatayer, laban, and water. Business and First Class guests will also receive a mini sandwich.

Al Fursan Lounges

SAUDIA’s loyalty program – Al Fursan – is serving anauthentic Ramadan Iftar and Sohour menu exclusively for guests travelling Business and First Class. The special meal offerings are available when visiting any of the airline’s lounges across Saudi Arabia.

Onboard Prayer Room

SAUDIA exclusively offers an onboard prayer area, available in the rear cabin on all widebody aircraft. For guests travelling on the Boeing 777, Boeing 787 Dreamliner or Airbus A330 aircraft, the prayer space is available for all travellers to access.

Digital Library and onboard religious programming

SAUDIA’s onboard entertainment library includes more than 435 Islamic programs. During the month of Ramadan, a dedicated channel has been added with additional religious titles to the airline’s extensive line–up of more than 5,000 entertainment hours featuring a wide selection of movies, games, news, television series, and documentaries in more than 18 languages.
